   Morrer de vírus ou morrer de fome? Questionam-se mais de 10,3 milhões de brasileiros que passam fome no Brasil.

    Segundo dados do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatísticas (IBGE) a extrema pobreza que havia reduzido por uma década, a ponto de tirar o Brasil do Mapa da Fome, voltou a se alastrar pelo país e a falta de alimentos básicos atinge 7,7 milhões de pessoas moradores da área urbana e 2,6 milhões da área rural.

    O número de pessoas em extrema pobreza aumentou milhões entre 2018 e 2020, levando o Brasil de volta rumo ao Mapa da Fome.
A insegurança alimentar atinge 43,1 milhões de brasileiros.
   Ao mesmo tempo, o desemprego atinge mais de 14 milhões, sem contar os desalentados, que são aquelas pessoas que, apesar de terem condições e interesse de trabalhar, sucumbiram a crise e desistiram de tentar um emprego com carteira assinada. Esse grupo cresceu 24,2%, mais de 1,1 milhão de pessoas, em relação ao mesmo período do ano passado.
      A pandemia da COVID-19 agravou a fome no Brasil, mas não foi ela quem levou milhões de brasileiros a ficarem sem arroz e feijão na mesa e sim a somatória de vários fatores em efeito dominó.

Entre os diversos fatores que levaram milhões de brasileiros a passar fome e viver em extrema pobreza posso citar:

– Desemprego;
– Desmonte da CONAB – Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento;
– Queda de 95% na comercialização de alimentos produzidos pela agricultura familiar, por meio do PAA – Programa de Aquisição de Alimentos da Agricultura Familiar, caiu de 297 milhões de toneladas em 2012 para 41,3 milhões em 2019 e reduziu o programa de 128.804 famílias agricultoras atendidas para 5.885 famílias no mesmo período;
– Real desvalorizado;
– Aumento na exportação;
– A pandemia da COVID-19;
– Inflação, aumento de preços abusivos em todos os produtos da Cesta Básica;
– Corte da metade do valor do Auxílio Emergencial.

Auxílio Emergencial é previsto na Constituição pelo chamado Orçamento de Guerra

    O que muitos brasileiros não sabem é que o Auxílio Emergencial é previsto na Constituição pelo chamado Orçamento de Guerra, isto quer dizer que, trata-se de um regime extraordinário fiscal, financeiro e de contratações para enfrentamento de calamidade pública, independente de qual presidente esteja no Planalto, esse recurso sempre estará lá, é do povo e para o povo.

   Vale ressaltar também que, se o governo reduzir os impostos da importação de arroz, estaremos comprando o nosso arroz que foi vendido para outro país e volta para nosso Brasil mais barato do que estão nos vendendo. Como acontece com a gasolina.

Safra de arroz foi 6,7% maior esse ano

   Na safra de arroz 2019/2020 no Brasil foram colhidas 11.183,4 milhões de toneladas (cada tonelada tem 1.000 quilos); teve um aumento de 6,7% em relação a safra anterior.
No mesmo período, o feijão teve a primeira safra colhida com 1.105,6 toneladas; a segunda safra colhida com 1.244,7 toneladas do grão e a terceira safra que está em fase de maturação estimada em 879,8 mil toneladas; totalizando 3.230,1 toneladas, segundo dados do Observatório Agrícola da Conab. Trata-se dos alimentos básicos da dieta diária dos brasileiros.
   O arroz e o feijão são o principal alimento da mesa das famílias que vivem em situação de vulnerabilidade e com insegurança alimentar. Assim como o leite, é portanto, os alimentos que jamais poderiam ter preços abusivos, independente de ter aumento na procura, ou não.

   Um bom exemplo de preços abusivos são as carnes. Conforme colocaram o preço abusivo para carnes de primeira e a população passou a consumir a carne de segunda, aumentaram também o preço até das vísceras que estavam sendo a fonte de proteína da população mais carente.

   O Brasil é um grande produtor de grãos, mas é muito mal administrado, além de muito roubado também. E enquanto uma pequena porcentagem fica cada vez mais rica por ganância, milhares de brasileiras e brasileiros passam fome e vivem a angustia da incerteza do amanhã.

O que podemos fazer:

– Não desperdiçar alimentos.
– Comprar dos pequenos agricultores.
– Comprar do comércio do seu bairro.
– Cobrar políticas públicas de combate a desnutrição, a fome e distribuição de alimentos a pessoas em extrema pobreza.
